Pat,

Here is the site for a hotel we have stayed at twice in the past. It is
within a short walk from Gare Montparnasse.

It has been remodeled since our last stay there but the manager, Michel
Vessigaud, was still there when we stopped in during our Paris Untour in '04 and
I assume is still the manager. His family owned the hotel when we stayed there
but, as so many small Parisian hotels have, since sold to a corporation.

Should you decide to use this hotel ask for a room facing the courtyard.
While they say the rooms are soundproof (and they may well be since the
remodel) those facing Blvd Raspail were noisy as it is a very busy street. However,
the location can't be beat as it is walking distance to a couple of very
famous left bank restaurants, a famous cemetery and two metro stops.

Enjoy Paris!

Nina
