Lynn, this note has nothing to do with your last message, but I want to
send a message to anyone going to Greece. Take a couple of candles and
some matches. The electric goes out often. Our apartment had some little
decorative candles that burned for a few minutes, but we were out of
lights for longer than the candles could burn. We had flashlights which
really helped.
Greece was great. Nafplio is a perfect little town to live in.
Restaurants are great. Zorba's was our favorite. One night there were 11
Untour people in there for dinner. We ate earlier than the Greeks, so it
was not a problem for space and service.
I am still slow today. The nine hour trip from Munich to Dulles is too
much. We left our apartment at 2:30 AM for a 6:50 AM flight from Athens
to Munich. We selected the delivery service rather than move into a hotel
for the night prior to departure. 
Christos was always available to us to help solve problems. My husband
had to go to the emergency room at the hospital and Christos drove us and
waited with me while by husband was being examined and treated. Christos
said it was better that someone who spoke Greek was with us.
