First off, Malpensa is nowhere near Milan. It's in the suburbs. I would stay
in the city itself. There is a train that goes from Malpensa to the city,
but we just took a cab. It's about a 30 minute cab ride to the city center
if you don't hit traffic.I can't recommend a hotel because my friend works
for Starwood hotels, and we get his discount when we travel with him.

You can check out trains at the Trenitalia website. (
http://www.trenitalia.it/en/index.html )

The main station in Milan is Milano Centrale, and I believe the main station
in Verona is Verona Porta Nuova. If you just put in Milan, it will
understand that and search all the Milan stations. But if you just put in
Verona, it asks you to choose a station. Like I said, I believe the main
station in Verona is Verona Porta Nuova, and there are trains that go there
from Milano Centrale.
