Maurice,
Unfortunately like anything else in the world today theft of a cell
phone can be a problem. Along with the other emergency numbers I carry
with me when I travel, the customer service number for Mobal is one of
them. If the phone is stolen, I can contact Mobal and cancel the
account. Also, most credit cards will not charge you for unauthorized
charges on your bill.
But one of the best features of the Mobal phone (actually a feature of
the SIM card itself) is that you can program an access code into it,
that must be entered each time the phone is turned on. A bit of a
bother, but a good security feature, in case of theft.
