I've been to both Warsaw and Krakow, with my father who's Polish and it was
wonderful. It was 7 or 8 years ago, so i'm sure some things have changed. We
did a 5 -6 day trip - via train from Berlin. We did not have a car and took
public transportation which was fine. Krakow was more architecturally
interesting because it was not rebuilt like Warsaw, but both cities are
incredible and worth visiting. If you had to pick one city however, i would
pick Krakow. If you're there in the summer/fall, try the blueberry
pierogies; they are so yummy!

Subject: [Idyllchat] Krakow before Prague/Budapest sampler
Has anyone gone to Poland before the two week Prague/Budapest sampler? Or
after?

If so, where in Poland did you go?

How long did you stay?

Where did you stay?

Did you rent a car while there or take the train/bus?

If going only for 4 days, should we see Krakow only or Krakow and Warsaw?

Thanks for your help,
Karen Susman
