[Idyllchat] Traveling with Forteo

Pete,

I have no clue, but a couple of thoughts. Have you considered looking
into the possibility of purchasing the medicine locally in Italy? If
that is feasible, it may be the simplest solution.

The other thought, which isn't very comforting, is that I have
personally been told by a local TSA inspector that they make the
final decision on what can be carried on a flight regardless of what
the TSA web site says! This was when I was in a "discussion" with an
inspector about an item that was in my carry on. Her follow up
comment to me when she pointed to the TSA emblem on her shirt was
"this stands for take stuff away". In a situation like that, one
might eventually win by taking up the discussion with TSA
supervision. But, in the mean time your flight may be long gone.
