What cell phones are you using in Europe? The kind you
rent there? I have a Motorola with Verizon service and
a battery charger designed for American electrical
service. I usually keep my cell phone turned off once
I leave the U.S. and don't turn it on again until I
land back here. I think I'd like to use it to snap a
few photos while in Provence in June. (I'm pretty
notorious for being incommunicado once I leave home
and never send postcards or take pictures.)
My late husband actually received a surprise call
asking for his daughter's hand in marriage while we
were on an Untour in Umbria.....nicely arranged by our
Untours representative whose name I can't recall but
whose phone was the link.
