I second Ann's comments, the Pendini included (stayed there twice). 
Great location in the Piazza della Repubblica. My only knock on it is 
that it has the world's smallest elevator. If you do stay there, try 
to request a room with a view of the piazza. Get Uffizi reservations 
before you go.
