Some other things to consider,

Before I leave home I program all the numbers into the phone, that I
might possibly need when traveling:

Credit card and ATM card customer service numbers ( I have twice needed
to call these numbers while abroad)

The numbers of all the Hotels I'm staying at.
(we missed a connecting flight once and it was nice to be able to
quickly call ahead to the hotel and tell them we would be arriving in
the middle of the night, the small hotel appreciated the call.)

The numbers of all the airlines I'm flying.
(When a flight is delayed or cancelled everyone on that flight crowds
around the service desk trying to book another flight. You can call
the customer service number and do the same thing on the phone while
watching everyone else elbow each other at the desk.)

Emergency numbers, both home and abroad.

Family I might need to call.

Travel insurance customer service.

Train customer service numbers (i.e. TrenItalia, SNCF etc. Most
European train companies have an english language number.)

and of course Idyll's contact number !!!

Happy trails,

Scott
