[Idyllchat] Another Gelmersee possibility

A couple of years ago, my son and hiked to the Gelmer hut. Instead of  
going across the dam and around the hut, one goes straight toward the  
large valley to the left. It took him three, and me four, hours of a  
steady uphill climb to get to the hut. It is a Swiss Alpine Club hut,  
and a great overnight. Upward is a good climb, but downward is a knee  
tester, so use care. The food and beds are great, and the cost is  
about what you would pay for an evening meal down below. Of course,  
the scenery is just spectacular. You need a hut reservation. The  
telephone July to October is 033 973 11 80 from inside the country  
use 011 41 33 973 11 80 from the USA.
