Thank you to everyone who responded to my question regarding auto insurance.  This list is a great resource to Untourists and travelers in general.  Though this is our first Untour, I have gleaned great travel information from it over the past 5 years.  And I hope I have also been able to contribute in a meaningful way.

We have decided to go with the Travel Insured Cancellation coverage for our trip.  Too bad about not being able to use American Express.  

Now I have another question for travelers of Italy.  Prior to arriving in Calci we will be driving from the Veneto over to Northern Tuscany and we are considering an overnght in the area of Bologna.  We want to EAT in Bologna ("Bologna La Grassa"...Bologna the Fat!)  Have any of you stayed there or in the vicinity and do you have any hotel recommendations?  Or restaurant favorites??
