[Idyllchat] Florence Uffizi & Academia tickets

I have an old message (March 2006) from a friend who booked his tickets by phone.  Here is what he said in his message to me:

The Academia and the Uffizi are the only two places in Florence that you need reservations. Reservations are easy and free to make. The operators speak english and the operator I spoke with was helpful and pleasant . 
You don't need reservations for the Bargelo or the Medici Chapel, but you definitely should visit these places.
The phone number for the reservation system in Florence which will make reservations for Uffizi, Accademia, Bargello, MediciChapels and/or the Pitti Palace is +39 055-294-883 - M-F 8:30 - 6:30, Sat 8:30 - 12:30 (Italian Time), closed for reservations Sunday.

There are places online where you can make reservations, but they charge a fee, and all they do is contact the same reservation system that you can contact yourself for free.
