  Laura:
If you would like to meet the volunteers, they are usually there every Monday evening working on the garden. I'm sure they would be glad to give you a personal tour. There's an ingenious bird bath made of stone with a lone horizontal wood branch projecting out from a stone wall. The end of the branch is right over the middle of the bird bath. It releases a droplet of water every few seconds, which I am told the birds love. We were told the secret of how this magical branch drops water seemingly out of thin air. If you insist, I will tell you. But it's better if Diana Dove, Garden Coordinator, reveals the secret in person. She is usually there every Monday evening. She can be reached at 908-689-7771 for more information. Just tell her Bill Kover sent you. Tomas Gonzales is the designer of the garden including the magic branch feature.

If you like, I can also scan a map showing the layout of the garden identifying the plants and flowers. This is an award winning garden (11 awards including the NJ Governor's Top Volunteerism Award).

    Beautiful pictures
I had to read twice that they were from NJ and not one of your Untour adventures

Since this is on my backyard, I'm making plans to visit the gardens

    thanks for sharing this treasure

The pictures are gorgeous, as always, Bill. We have a butterfly garden here at the Beebe School dedicated to one of the teachers who died. Our garden is not as lovely as that but we try and the second graders get very excited when they release the butterflies. That will be next week.
A question: what kind of camera did you use?
