Fellow Travelers,

Page 3B of today's USA Today has an article by Sandra Block entitled "Before
going abroad, check out ways to reduce currency-exchange fees."

Here is the table that goes with the article;

Currency-conversion fees charged by major banks and credit card providers:

Capitol One,  None
Washington Mutual,  1%
American Express,  2%
Bank of America,  3%
Chase,  3%
Citibank , 3%
US Bancorp (US Bank),  3%
Wells Fargo,  3%

The example provided by Ms. Block is ... if you spent 100 British pounds and
it converted to 198 US dollars, a 3% currency conversion fee would add about
6 US dollars.
