[Idyllchat] Etruscan banquet, Murlo, Italy

Hi My banquet menu says September 9, 2007. Here is the menu in Italian which I don't know but believe the soup was wonderful. 

Fichi e coscio di cinghiale, uova all' ETRUSCA CON ERBE, OLIVE AGLI AROMI

zuppa di farro all'Etrusca, rustici di pasta alla lepre

oca selvatica affumicata

agnello alle bacche di Poggio Civitate
Taurus alla griglia (!)
Verdure saporite


Dolci fantasie di Lanthia

Vini delle nostre antiche vigne

the menu is on parchment like scroll with a tie of dried flowers and herbs with a copper plate with "55" my seat number. the three of us were together with people from the area.

the Etruscan museum is new and has great treasures. There were two tours, one in Italian and one in English....tours were a bit long but generous in hospitality. during the banquet costumed people danced around the tables in the courtyard. there was a slide show on big screen in Italian showing Etruscan art.

      My wife and I are doing a Tuscany South tour in September.  I have read several trip logs that speak of the Etruscan banquet in Murlo.  Does anyone know the dates for this Sept, do you need to make a reservation early and if so how?
