[Idyllchat] Waffner's Tuscany Weather Question

We were in Southern Tuscany last year from September 20th through 
October 4th. We stayed in the the Geranio Apartment at the La
Canonica Agriturismo near Torrenieri along the road to San Givanni 
d'Asso. You can see it from above using GoogleEarth,

We packed a mixture of warm and cool weather clothes as well as rain 
coats and umbrellas. We found that it was warmer than expected and we 
washed our warm weather clothes a couple of times and came home with 
some of our cool weather clothing un-worn. Rain was minimal - maybe 
light rain for part of one afternoon - not an issue. It really is a 
rather arid area.

I would never call the weather hot but around 3PM it could get quite 
warm. Nights could sometimes get cool enough for a wrap, but usually 
it was quite pleasant and perfect for sipping some wine under the 
Tuscan stars - ahh - I envy you - it is so wonderful there. Eat some 
gelato for me!
