[Idyllchat] driving to Florence

Hey,
Has anyone out there driven from the Umbria (Spoleto) part of Italy to Florence? I'm thinking of driving there for a day visit instead of taking the train. Will parking be easy to find? Am I delusional in thinking I can do this?
Looking forward to any information anyone can give.
