Rosemary,
We stayed in Florentina 2 (I think it was 2) and liked it. It's well located, the restaurant downstairs is good and the fact that the landlady speaks little English was not a problem. We were there during the "Heat Wave" and learned which shutters to leave open and which to close then spent most of our time out and about enjoying the many lovely places to see. We did take the Glacier Express to Zermatt for a few days to escape the heat but it really wasn't that bad. And the landlady provided us with a new fan which helped a lot. I don't think you'll be disappointed if this is the one you're thinking of and we'd choose it again.

The elevator really is little!

Previously I sent email requesting information on some apartments in the Switzerland Ticino area. Well, we are now considering staying in either the Florentina or the Zaniti. There will be 4 of us and weve decided that we want to stay in one apartment. I would love to hear from anyone who may have stayed at either apartment. Were aware that the Zaniti may be a little far from town, but not sure how far. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Rosemary
