I was in Sorrento over Thanksgiving with a tour. We stayed at the Hotel
Imperial Tramontano. It is well located and the rooms are adequate. The
breakfast was quite good. Sorrento has some lovely narrow streets which are
fun just to walk on. If you like good soaps, like I do, try their lemon and
orange soaps. They make great gifts to take home. If you are an opera fan,
have a meal at Ristorante Museo Caruso. It is full of pictures and
artifacts about Enrico Caruso.
If possible, try to visit some of the towns on the Amalfi Coast. They are
charming and well worth seeing.
We took a boat across to Capri. It is lovely to see, but I felt a one day
visit was enough.
Hope this helps.
