How does one describe "steep"? Let me say that my wife and I stayed in adjacent Chalet Elisabeth two years ago and we (in our mid 80s) were able to make it up the hill. Estimated walking time from the railroad station (bahnhof) is 8-10 minutes. By the way, if you stay there your host and hostess will be Albert & Berit Greutert, the best in the land. By the way, when are you going? We have reservations to stay in Chalet Berit (in the same building) in late July this year.

If anyone has stayed at Studio Albert, please advise me of the level of difficulty in walking to the train station. I live in Florida where it is very flat, although I walk a lot, I was told that the access from the apt. is steep. I am not quite sure what this means. A description would help.
Thank you, Ginny in Florida
