This is the English version of the Swiss Rail website.

>From the Italian lake district you could use the TrenItalia site:

And someone mentioned they did the trip from Germany which would be (Deutche
Bahn):
http://www.db.de/site/bahn/en/start.html

All 3 sites will do international trains, so you could use the Swiss Rail
site for looking up trains that originate in Germany.
