[Idyllchat] Switzerland - Hasliberg(Reuti) / Locarno

Follow Nina's advice! The flea market at Luino is a hoot. We have gone down twice from the Heartland on the first train out of Sachseln via Luzern arriving just after 10:00am, in time for a cappuccino and browsing. Lunch, shopping, and several gelatos later, back on the regional train to the mainline where, if you are lucky, a fashion show might ensue---women showing off their purchases, last time included a "bra". Giggles all around. Happy travels. Joan.

  Jay,

If time permits on a Wednesday while you are in the Ticino area may I suggest a trip to Lunino, Italy. On this day each week there is a HUGE flea market where one can purchase anything from live bunny rabbits to Italian leather coats. It is a lot of fun and is reported to be the largest flea market in northern Europe. I am sure the Untour rep in Locarno can give you the details.

  Nina
