Lucky you! I stayed in Le Gracieuse a few years ago.
Rue Mouffetard, accessible from the rear of the
courtyard, is reputed to be the oldest street in
Paris, the original road to Rome. There are some good
bakeries there, two of which are listed in a now
out-of-print book. The website that gives the names is
currently "undergoing construction" but I'll try to
remember to check for you. Otherwise you'll have a
great time anyway munching your way down the street.
One chocolate shop has a very friendly proprietor.
Place Monge has a regular outdoor market and there is
also a restaurant street around the corner. You will
be well situated.
