[Idyllchat] Tuscany North this fall: questions

Hi -

Thanks to all of you who are so willing to share your experience on this board!  We're planning our first Untour this fall to Tuscany North.  Lesson #1 - plan early!  Our first and second choice accommodations that were listed as available really aren't. :(  Now we're leaning towards the Upupa unit at the Fattoria di Migliarino.

1) We realize that there aren't any "no smoking" units.  Can someone who has been at one of the units at the Fattoria tell me how bad it will be for someone who is allergic to cigarette smoke?  Be honest, please!  We are usually okay for a few hours in restaurants, e.g., but we're a little concerned about the bedrooms where we'll be living for 2 weeks.

2) We've read the trip logs but they are a few years old; I've also scanned the archives here - but any newer comments about the Fattoria accommodations or the Tuscany North area in general?  Must do's or must don'ts?
