Rome/ColosseumHi Vickie,
We tacked 3 nights in Rome on to our Tuscany North Untour last summer and also booked Isabella Ruggiero as our guide (based on suggestions from this chat group). She was absolutely wonderful. We booked her for two mornings, visiting the Colosseum/Forum area one morning and the Vatican the next morning. It's not cheap, but it was definitely worth it. We have 2 teenagers and she did a great job making history come alive for all of us. In the Vatican she was also helpful at navigating the maze of rooms and things to see. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

We are planning our Rome/Venice Untour scheduled for May and wondered what Untourists recommend for visiting the Colosseum. There seem to be a variety of options....booking ahead, booking a tour, the Roma Pass, the Archeologica Card.
What have been some of your experiences?
Thanks.
Vickie
