Betty,
I wholeheartedly agree with those who recommend saving Ticino for an Untour  
there.  We, too, have been to the Heartland and to Ticino on separate  trips.  
We also took an overnight to Ticino from our trip in the  Heartland.  It was 
not nearly long enough but was enough to whet our  appetite.  Both places are 
very different.  There is so much to see in  each area that we had a hard time 
doing justice to either and could go back  again and again.
