[Idyllchat] first untour !

  My wife and I stayed at Chalet Berit in Sachseln in April-May, 2004.  We stayed overnight in Locarno.  I just posted Day 1 at Locarno on the Untours website.  Click on "Unpoints", then "View Triplogs and Slideshows."  My triplog/photo album is on page 3 under the title "Swiss Heartland (19) Locarno (Day 1)".  We left the next day.  I'm still working on the Day 2 album.  I think you need to stay overnight to really have a relaxing time in the Ticino area.

    We are taking the Swiss Heartland tour...the apartment is in Sachsein.  Need to know how far it is to Ticino.  Is it a day trip (there and back with some sightseeing and shopping) , or should we spend the night there?
