We were in Napflio in May 2006.  Loved every minute but suggest that the FIRST item on your tour agenda should be the Palamedi overlooking Napflio.  It will give you an appreciation and understanding of where you are and where you should go.  We thoroughly enjoyed that (but didn't do the steps up the mountain) and the beach just beyond, via roadway.  Lunches on the beach at the tables were sort of "Shirley Valentine" like.  The city beach, which is an easy walk from your apartment, is worth the walk every day if you are needing exercise.  The views along the walkway from one end of Old Napflio to the other are spectacular.  I wish I were going again this spring.
