Hi Judy,

My daughter and I stayed in the San Rocco on my first Untour, and we loved it. Outside the kitchen and bedroom windows are nice greenery.  Couldn't get to it but lovely to look at.  It's on the ground floor with it's own private patio with a table and chairs for four.  We could smell the wonderful Italian cooking, and could hear them talking, but noone had access but us. The dining area had a big enough table to spread our maps out on - and also to eat on :-)  The bathroom is roomie, with a shower, toilet, bidet, sink, and the washing machine.

What we really liked was, after a day of walking and going over canals, there are no bridges  to cross after getting off the vaporetto at the S. Toma' stop.  I would stay there again.

Thank you everyone for the great feedback on the Dona Onestra and Toreselle 
apartments.  They both sound lovely. Unfortunately, we found out that they 
are both unavailable for our time period when Andrea tried to book them for 
us.  So now were are looking at the Fogher or the San Rocco.  Any feedback 
on either of them?

Thanks also for your suggestions on must do's.  We will definitely check 
them out.
