We stayed there in Jan. 1999. We loved the place, beautiful views from the windows, too. The kithchen is large, with nice size eating area. When we were there, the 2nd bedroom had bunk beds, and it's own bathroom, I think. Landlady is a gem! Only about 6 steps up to the door, as I remember. It's also only a short walk to the bus to the Brunig station to connect to the train. Enjoy!
