Dear Ann,
My husband and I visited Greece in Sept. of 2007.  We stayed in Dimitri 1.  Nafplio is a delightful little town and very easy to get around.  It has all the restaurants, sites, and
shops one would want and the Untour staff person, Christos, is wonderful.  He is helpful, energetic, and full of enthusiasm for his town and country.  We did the usual day trips to Corinth, Mycenae,Tiryns, Epidaurus, Nemea, Hydra and Spetses. We intended to do Olympia in a day, but found it got too late and ended up going south and combining Mystras and Monemvasia with Olympia (making a double overnight).  We also did an overnight to Delphi. After the Untour two weeks we tacked on 4 nights in Athens and 3 on the island of Santorini. The ancient sites are amazing and the artifacts in the museums are incredible.  You can't go wrong by choosing a Greek Untour. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have specific questions.
