[Idyllchat] Hal Taussig's Untours Foundation

After reading some of the recent Idyllchat postings  and watching the  recent 
news stories on Hal and his wonderful Untours Foundation, we wanted to  share 
our experience with you. 
 
After traveling with Untours for several years and learning about the  
Untours Foundation and the great work it does all over the world, we inquired  about 
giving to the Foundation. We asked if we could make a small monthly  
contribution via electronic withdrawal from our checking account instead of  making 
just one large contribution. Elizabeth Killough, the Associate  Director, said 
they had never done this but she would check with Hal. She  got back to us and 
said sure, they could do that, so we have been contributing  to the Foundation 
a small amount each month over the past couple of years, and  we don't even 
miss it. It does add up, though, and we can't think of a better  way of giving. 
It's like paying your pledge at a church. In fact, the  Untours Foundation 
call us their tithers. It's not really a bad way to  share.
