[Idyllchat] South Tuscany and Venice

I don't remember the hours of travel..but it was an event in itself to go from Venice s. Tuscany. What we did was arive two days early in Venice and pick the car up there. Then we had the car in Tuscany and left it in Florence. Leigh in SC

  We are debating about the value of taking a couple of days mid-stay and visiting Venice during our S. Tuscany trip.  Has anyone done this and where did you stay overnight in Venice?  Also, how did you make the trip and how many hours were involved?  Any tips will help with our decision.  Thank you.
