Those are answers to your questions! I assume you would like more  
detail than that, however.

We, along with another couple, were at the Alessandra location Oct. 4  
- 16, 2006.  We arranged our own flights and were actually in Italy  
Sept. 30 through Oct. 20. The weather was great the entire time we  
were in Umbria. As far as day trips, you will find you don't have  
enough time to go on all of the possible ones! You will be given a  
lot of possibilities for day trips by your local Untours contact.  
Generally, the driving in that area is quite easy since it is pretty  
rural but with several very good highways.

would be happy to give you any details that you would like. I also  
have pictures of our trip on my web site if you would like to see them.
