[Idyllchat] AAA's Cash Card / North Tuscany

I, likewise, do what Bob is doing and wonder why I continue doing
it. Just in the last week or so, I read an article that claims AAA
has lost some 40+% of its membership, that they're struggling to come
up with enough travel opportunities and other things to keep them
afloat. I'm beginning to think that only those of us who have been
members so long that we still cling to them may get to the point of
bailing out like others, probably the younger set. I wonder what
others do to replace what AAA once offered that no other did? We've
been using Capital One abroad as well as for everyday things here,
including groceries, entertainment, gas, etc., to the extent that
we've taken 4 round-trip air flights and have over 200k air miles in
our account. No blocked seats, any airline, and all for $19 a year
fee; newer applicants I hear are able to get the same card w/o an
annual fee, but it's so little that I don't bug them.
