[Idyllchat] Holland in off season

We did the Holland Untour in the summer but, as we were on an "art orgy," it could have been any time of the year. There are wonderful museums, art and otherwise, all over Holland, most conveniently accessed with public transportation.

Examples include the famous ones like the Rijksmusuem and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Mauritshuis in the Hague, the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem and the Kroller-Muller Museum in De Hoge Veluwe National Park

Some of the smaller museums we enjoyed were the Lakenhal Municipal Museum, the National Museum of Antiquities, the Museum Boerhaave and the windmill De Valk in Leiden, the Prince William V Gallery in the Hague, De Moriann and the Stedelijk Museum in Gouda, the Amstelkring Museum and the Willet-Holthuysen Museum in Amsterdam, and the Museum Lambert and Leger Museum in Delft.

If gardens are not your primary interest and you're happy with cooler weather, then I'm guessing Holland in "off" season will be perfect for you. The architecture, churches and interesting food are still there - and probably more enjoyable with fewer tourists.

Has anyone done the Holland off-season? We noticed the great
off-season price for Holland in November when the average temperature
is in the 40Fs - which is an OK temperature for us. Can you give us
any guidance? Are we nuts to consider this time of the years there?
