I do not have the name or email address for the person who asked about Mosquitos in Italy. Yes, they have them in Italy. We don't have a monopoly on them. Today when I was looking for something in my medicine cabinet I found a wonderful remedy for their bites.
Last year in Italy, our granddaughter and niece were bitten by Zanzares (Mosquitos). Our family in Ponte Buggionese (Tuscany) told us about a wonderful treatment as well as repellent. You can get it over the counter at a Farmacia (Pharmacy). It worked so well that we brought some home with us. It is called NUOVO ZANZA STOP PLUS LOZIONE. (New Mosquito Stop Plus Lotion) Only warning was not to put it near mouth or eyes. It is a great product and even if you don't experience mosquitos on your trip to Italy, buy some for home where I'm sure you will have use for it.
