[Idyllchat] CDG transfers

It has been 3 or 4 years since we changed planes in CDG. My
recollection is that we had to hustle but the signs were good and we
had no problem.

I think the advice about allowing plenty of time applies to all major
airports now days; CDG is not unique. Last October we had to change
from a Chicago-London flight on American to an Alitalia flight to
Milan at Heathrow. We had just over 1-1/2 hours between flights. Due
to the terminal change and LONG lines for security checks and gate
checkin we arrived at our departure gate barely 30 minutes before
departure time. Everything kept moving. It is just that these major
airports handle so many people and the security checks only go so fast.
