Aside from all the wine in Tuscany, the small towns and villages, the
beautiful churches, and the spectacular scenery are worth the trip. The sight of the
rolling hills takes my breath away. We have done the Idyll South Tuscany
twice, but have never been to one of the wineries, although we do love the wine
with our meals.

Red wine used to give me a terrible headache so I only drank white, but red
is what they drink mostly in Italy, and I can drink a bottle there and not have
a headache. What's strange is that we now drink a lot of red at home and it
doesn't give me a headache anymore.

My husband cannot eat olives, and we spent two weeks on an olive farm in
Umbria, so go on and try Tuscany. You'll love it.
