[Idyllchat] How to take a peek at Venice?

Venice has a big parking area at the end of the causeway, though I have no
idea what they charge, or if you are better off parking in Mestre. I'm sure
there are others out there who have driven to Venice.

>From Verona Porta Nuova station, it's only 1.5 hours by train to the Venice
(Venezia S.L.) station. The EuroStar trains are €21 one-way and the
InterCity trains are €17 one-way both in 1st Class. (The second class prices
were €14 and €13.50 respectively.) If you were planning this for some time
in the middle of your stay in Verona, I'd just take the train. I'm sure
dealing with your car when you get to Venice would be a huge headache.
