[Idyllchat] flying with wine

Carol, unless the law has changed, one liter a person is all that's
lawful, but I'm fully aware that many on idyllchat, for years, have
said that they brought back more.....and some in full view of
customs....without a fuss. Anyway, we've not tempted the law, but I
have, somewhat hesitantly packed bottles of wine and/or scotch in my
checked baggage and not.......as yet.........had a problem. It just
make sure that it's well padded, and we use hard-sided luggage. Hey,
anytime one of us steps outside our home we're taking a risk, so pack
some of that good stuff. It will bring back wonderful memories, all
while you'll in a mellow mood; you can't beat that! Last thought: if
it's really good wine, what's a little duty to have to pay. I
suspect that it'll still be far less expensive than their wine over
here.....if one can actually buy it here. ................sonny in Virginia
