Zermatt has many hotel, but in general they are pricey.

The best value I know is the Dufour http://www.reconline.ch/dufour/.

The Darioli is on the main street and has a good 
restaurant, Le Gitan. http://www.darioli.ch/

A step up in class is the Mirabeau. http://www.hotelmirabeauzermatt.com/

Most hotels will pick you up at the rail station.
