Ann,

Barbara and I spent a week at Bonalumi in Locarno this past February.  
Granted, it was winter, and this year Locarno had more snow than we  
had in Sachseln, but we had a lot of fun anyway. The Bonalumi  
apartments are nice, and the landlady a sweetheart who speaks pretty  
good English. The apt. is about two minutes from the Bahnhof and four  
from the main drag.

Day trips to Como and Luino in Italy are easy. The ride to Domadosala  
over the Centovali line is a treat. There are plenty of local sights  
that one could reach easily and walks are plentiful close by (without  
the snow).

I'll try to find some pics and the diary and send it to you or put it  
on my web site.
