You are probably referring to Skype.  Go to www.skype.com and you can 
find out all about it.  You can download it free and then you put a 
small amount of money--maybe $10 or 10 euros--in your account and call 
all over the world for almost nothing!  You do have to choose a user 
name.  My husband uses it all the time calling colleagues in his work 
and calls me from China or India or Korea or Australia or wherever and 
we talk for several minutes and he still hasn't used but about $4 from 
his account.  To call the US you just dial the usual +1 and then the US 
number.   You can also dial cell phone numbers but it tends to be more 
expensive than calling regular phone numbers.  Charlotte Sprawls
