Be sure to pick up a copy of the Pariscope weekly magazine.  It lists the concerts and other events going on in Paris.  It costs about .40 euro and is available at most newsstands.  You'll also notice signs at some of the attractions you visit, such as Ste. Chappelle and Notre Dame, about concerts they have.  
  I agree with the other Untourists about seeing the Eiffel Tower at night and taking a boat ride on the Seine.  The view of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero is spectacular.  
  My favorite Paris meal was at Boucherie Rouliere, at 24 rue des Canettes, about half a block from St. Sulpice Church.
  Have a wonderful time in Paris.  How could you not?
