[Idyllchat] Paris, here we come!

I'm getting very excited.  We leave in 2 weeks; 9/19-10/4.  I thought I'd
see if anyone has any restaurants, or boulangeries they love.  We are
staying at the Convention apartment.  Also, how did you fill your evenings?
We would like to catch a ballet or opera; does anyone have any experience?
Concerts? Cinema would be fun, but I doubt they use English subtitles ;)  My
travel companion will be turning 50 while we are there so if there is a
special restaurant, that won't break the bank, I would love your
recommendations.  We do plan to catch the candlelit evening at
Vaux-de-Vicomte.  

 

After Paris, on to Bruges.  Any must sees?  Where shall I buy chocolate and
can I bring it home???
