This is extremely useful. Thank you for being so efficient.

Administration. The first page explains in detail the new security
procedures, while the second is a rather exhaustive list of permitted
and prohibited items.

I would strongly suggest checking these sites as well as looking at
main British Airways site:
http://www.britishairways.com/travel/home/public/en_us
Basically, it should be fine bringing make-up and other similar items,
as long as it is in checked luggage. If it is solid, you can bring it
in your carry-on luggage, but as it says on the first TSA site:
"Some solid or powdered cosmetics items are permitted past the
checkpoint; however, this is left to the discretion of the Security
Officer. To minimize delays and hassle, we recommend that you pack
all cosmetics in your checked baggage."
I hope this is helpful to those of you travelling through London / the
UK in the near future.
Best,
Powen Shiah
P.S. Since this is my first email to the Idyllchat list, just so you
know -- I'm the newest member of the Central / Eastern European /
Greek team at Idyll Untours, so if you're calling us about Germany,
Austria, Prague, Budapest, or Greece, I may be the one on the other
end of the line.
