[Idyllchat] general info south of france

We stayed in Isle Sur Sorgue two years ago in April and spent several days driving and visiting further south. The only advice I have regarding Nice, Cannes is it's VERY crowded and traffic is a bear. Maybe it was the time of year but I've heard the same from others. It is lovely though. A few of the yachts were quite impressive and I grew up in San Diego and spent years in Newport so not new to seeing "big boats". Cannes is extremely touristy in my view but probably worth a visit. I'm sure you'll get more info from others and also sure you'll enjoy your stay. The people were helpful and friendly and you'll have to learn to be as creative as they in inventing parking places. I predict a wonderful time.
