Have any of you traveled to Turkey? Any suggestions? we've heard, via an
archaeologist colleague, that chartering a boat is the way to go.
I was in Istanbul just before the war in Iraq started with my mom and a nine
month old infant. It was a fabulous trip, and I would go back to Turkey in a
heartbeat!!! We did not take boat, but that sounds awesome. Istanbul is an
incredible city--and people were very friendly and helpful even though they
were not particularly pro Bush at that point. We had a private tour guide for
a day which was a wonderful idea not expensive. Budget for RUGS!!!!!
