Becky: If you will go to the web site for Swiss Rail (www.sbb.ch) you will get full details on traveling from anywhere in Switzerland to Munich, or anywhere else in Europe. When I checked the Zurich to Munich schedule it varied from a little over 5 hours to 6 hours with 1 to 4 changes, depending on the time of day.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Idyllchat] Travel from Switzerland to Munich
We are contemplating a trip to Switzerland. We would like to make a side trip to Germany, specifically Munich. How easy or difficult is it to travel from either area of Switzerland to Munich? How long does it take? Once you are in Germany, do you need to purchase train passes for Germany?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
